Abstract

Innovation is fundamental to ensure sustained profitable growth by maintaining competitive edge, and creating new opportunities. One of the challenges of Innovation is the lack of a standard process and its management. In order to maximize benefits of innovation corporations must manage the innovation process through defining the innovation strategy, leading its execution, and ensuring results.

The Learning Innovation for Business Growth presentation will include a discussion of key aspects of the innovation process, a roadmap for deployment, and role of innovation in achieving business growth. Attendees will also learn three steps to initiate implementation of innovation in their organizations.

Praveen will talk about how corporations, individuals and our Government leadership can use innovation to create growth opportunities for employees, and new jobs using innovation.

Praveen Gupta has authored several books including Business Innovation in the 21st Century, The Innovation solution, Stat Free Six Sigma, Six Sigma Performance Handbook, and Service Scorecard. Praveen is Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Innovation Science, and writes monthly columns on Manufacturing Excellence, and Innovation. Praveen frequently speaks on business innovation
at conferences.

Praveen has worked at Motorola, and AT&T Bell Laboratories, and consulted with about 100 small to large size companies. Praveen has taught Operations Management at DePaul University’s MBA program. He teaches Business Innovation at IIT School of Applied Technology of Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.
