Integral Begins Work on New DHS Office of Biometric Identity Management Contract

October 10, 2017 – Integral has been awarded the Organizational Efficiencies and Strategic Planning Support task order contract under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM). Awarded under the company’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business prime contract, the requirement has a one-year base and four one-year option periods of performance.

In support of the OBIM Strategic Plan Goals and Objectives, Integral’s work that began at the end of September focuses on the areas of organizational efficiency, strategic planning, and workforce planning. The efforts assist OBIM in documenting and streamlining its business processes in preparation for the transition from the legacy Automated Biometric Identification System (IDENT) to the new Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology (HART) system. The contract also supports OBIM in conducting effective organizational strategic planning, transition planning, and workforce planning to address expanding mission requirements and potential organizational change.
